Lime Slaker

The lime slaker mainly consists of a power unit, screen, rolling ring, drum (outer and inner), gear ring and support roller assembly. The drum interior is divided into four zones: buffer, slaking, homogenizing and slurry/residue separation, with a residue removal device at the tail. Its main feature is a slaking method that uses motion instead of agitation. A screen is fitted at the rear of the drum. Quicklime lumps absorb water and slake on contact inside the drum; the lime slurry passes through the screen openings and flows out of the discharge port, while over-burnt and under-burnt lime that has not slaked is discharged from the drum by the residue removal device at the tail of the outer drum. This slaker has a rational structure, is easy to operate, and offers high production efficiency, large capacity and low labor intensity, and is suitable for lime of any quality.
