The HGM ultrafine ring roller mill is a grinding mill for processing fine powder, micro powder, and ultrafine powder. It is commonly called a three-ring mill, three-ring micro-powder mill, medium-speed mill, or three-ring grinding mill. This machine overcomes the defects of traditional industrial Raymond mills in scope of application, output, fineness, energy consumption, and service life.

The ultrafine grinding mill is mainly suitable for medium- and low-hardness, non-flammable and non-explosive brittle materials with Mohs hardness ≤ grade 6, such as calcite, chalk, limestone, dolomite, kaolin, bentonite, talc, mica, magnesite, illite, pyrophyllite, vermiculite, sepiolite, attapulgite, rectorite, diatomite, barite, gypsum, pigment, clay, alunite, graphite, fluorite, phosphate rock, potassium ore, pumice, and hundreds of other materials. The fineness of the discharged product can be adjusted within the range of 325 to 2500 mesh.
The HGM ultrafine ring roller mill consists of a mill host, powder selector, powder collector, dust collector, fan, muffler, soundproof room, crusher, elevator, silo, feeder, and other components.
After large material is crushed into small particles by the crusher, it is sent by the elevator into the silo, and then through the feeder and inclined material guide pipe, the material is uniformly sent to the spreading disc at the top of the rotating disc. When the mill works, the grinding rollers rotate and roll within the ring track. Under centrifugal force, the material spreads to the periphery and falls into the grinding chamber, where it is pressed, rolled, and ground by the grinding rollers in the ring track.
As the high-pressure fan continuously draws air from inside the equipment, the multi-stage ground material is brought into the powder selector, where the high-speed rotating impeller screens it. Unqualified material falls back for re-grinding, while qualified material enters the cyclone powder collector with the airflow. Denser dust particles fall and are discharged by the discharge valve at the bottom as finished product, while finer dust with lower density enters the dust collector with the airflow and adheres to the filter bag surface. The pulse valve controls a high-pressure airflow that is instantaneously ejected from inside the filter bag, and the dust adhering to it falls due to the bag's shaking, while the conveyor at the bottom sends the material collected at both locations out for finished-product packaging.
